12 Highways problems within the parish

Nothing has been done on the list given to Paul Shepherd over twelve months ago. BC called at highways regarding the footpath leading up to the crossroads on Northfield Lane and within a week they had cut the hedge but done nothing about the undergrowth. Unfortunately they left all the cuttings on the footpath. JA stated that the hedge was actually Mr Downham’s responsibility.

BC is to call in at highways with the list again.

JA proposed this be brought up at the area committee.

CW brought up the state of the road on the bypass and in his view this posed a danger particularly to motor cycles.

Parking of vehicles on the footpath has been brought to the police’s attention.
