2 Matters Arising

BC said that South Yorkshire Motors had confirmed that an hourly 412 bus service would commence on 30th July 2007.

BC said that Councillor Ivey had told him the number of directors at Selby DC as stated on the council tax leaflets was a misprint and included the number of support staff.

3 Public Question Time

A resident asked if, now that they were to run a full service, would South Yorkshire Motors receive a subsidy from NYCC?  BC said he would find out.

A resident asked if bus passes could be used on the South Selby Village Bus?  BC said he would find out.

A resident said that he thought that the gulleys from the bypass must be blocked because there was no water in the French drain during the recent heavy rainfall.  BC said he would inform Highways.

A resident said that the hedges near the staggered crossroads were blocking the sightline for traffic turning onto Northfield Lane.  BC said that it was almost the season for hedge cutting and so it would be cut back soon.
