2 Matters Arising

 

There were no matters arising.

 

3 Public Question Time

 

A villager asked about coal tipping by UK Coal on the Womersley tip. Photographic evidence is to be obtained as UK Coal deny any wrong doing.

 

A villager complained that the reverse of the new notice board within the village hall grounds had not been painted.

 

The bridle path cannot be walked its correct route, the parish council are to ask NY Footpath officer D Ottaway to look into this.

5 Reports from Various Meetings

 

A report was given by J Adams.

 

BC attended a CIP meeting at Kellington on 18 April 2007. He obtained £240.00 for first aid training.

 

BC attended the Osgoldcross Forum meeting on 30 April 2007 in Eggborough Police Station.

 

There will be a meeting in Cridling Stubbs village hall on Tuesday 15 May 2007 at 5.00pm regarding police volunteers.

 

6 Accounts 2006/7

 

2006 started with £1074.54

2007 finished with £1149.01

 

The accounts are to be sent for audit. LW to start doing the accounts from May 2007.

 

7 SLCC - Renewal

 

It was agreed to renew membership at a cost of £25.00.

 

 

8 Payments

£100.00 grass cutting

 

9 Bus Service Update

 

Arriva have ceased to operate a service through the village. South Yorkshire have been approached by the parish council to increase their service.

 

10 Any Other Business

 

Osgoldcross Parish Forum have produced an Area Survey.

Womersley Road railway crossing is still as bad.

Councillor Wilson was informed about training that was available for the future.

The gate at Kingstandard is missing.
