Members present: B Crossdale, M Shepherd, J Adams and M Williams.

1. Minutes of last Meeting
Item 12, page 15/2006 should read MS has been contacted by the Burial Board and not he has attended a meeting.
The minutes were then signed.
2. Matters Arising
Item 3 public question time page 14/2006 BW -monitoring the level crossing at Womersley Road and timing it.
Item 6 illegal use of motorbikes page 14/2006 a new police constable has been appointed PC Tony Morton, if he cannot attend the next parish council meeting Inspector Mark Khan will attend.
3 Public Question Time
A villager complained about the illegal parking of cars on the footpath and building materials being left on the footpath. This item to be placed on December 2006 agenda.
He also showed concern regarding the speeding lorries on the bypass and Womersley Road. This item to be placed on December 2006 agenda.
JA showed concern regarding the mud on the road by the entrance to Near Park Farm.
A villager showed concern regarding the ploughing of the fields and the farmers not re instating the-public footpaths.

5 Yorkshire Water
BC wrote to Yorkshire Water regarding the disruption to the village whilst laying new water pipes. As a result Yorkshire Water have donated £100.00 to the Cridling Stubbs Village Hall Restoration Fund without prejudice: The parish council have accepted this cheque.
6 Clerks Contract of Employment
It was agreed to hold a private meeting to discuss this with Lynda Walker the parish clerk and the parish councillors. This item to be placed on December 2006 agenda.
7 Reports from Various Meetings
MW reported on a meeting she attended on 2 November 2006 on Crime and Disorder Disruption held at Selby Fire Station.
MW and JA attended a meeting for YLCA Selby Branch Quarterly meeting, Inspector Khan was present and gave an update of problems and submitted the Home Office Report to date. The next meeting is to discuss community shops.
BC and JA attended a consultation with Darrington Quarries regarding the extension of the quarry.
BC attended a meeting for Eggborough Local Parish Forum where a report was given regarding the tree huggers at the power stations. The organisation fed the police during these demonstrations.
BC met 3 police officers on 8 November 2006 to discuss traffic problems.
BC attended a CIP group meeting on 18 October 2006 and made an appeal for £150.00 for fencing the Community Gardens. £200.00 was given £150.00 for fencing and £50.00 to be divided by members to replace lost items in the arson attack. YRCC announced different funds were to be released.
8 Osgoldcross Parish Forum
They have asked to parish council to complete a questionnaire, this has been completed.

10 Any Other Business
Audit to be placed on December 2006 agenda.
MW asked about the news that the Coal Board were selling land for development but was told that this was the Prince of Wales Colliery site.
LW asked for a vote of thanks to BC regarding the generator that was brought into the village to enable the villagers to have electricity as without his intervention the village would have been without electricity. Also thanks to BC for obtaining £100.00 from Yorkshire Water for the disruption caused during laying of new water pipes.
11 Planning Application Manor Farm Bungalow
Outline planning application, the parish council have no observations.
