Parish Meeting held on 9th July 2002

 

Correspondence - Planning Application from Eggborough Power station, a joint letter from Whitley, Cridling Stubbs and Beal to be sent clarifying amount of wagons on road and need for Cob Croft Lane to be closed.  Suggestion of a holding order to be sent, also compensation.

 

Written to Health authority asking for health concerns regarding tip.

 

Level crossings at Cridling Stubbs and Spring Lodge to be closed for maintenance.

 

Complaints of noise from Pecker at DQL, take up further issues such as scavenger on site and dust and recent problem with flies.

 

Information, and help, requested about becoming a Parish Council rather than a meeting.

 

Planning application from Mr D. Naylor for work at land at Old School.

 

Traffic Calming ideas to be looked into, rumble strips and signs.

 

Grass cutting was raised, NYCC have done it to safety standards, suggest tender for job.
