Parish Meeting held 13th March 2002, 7.30 pm
The minutes of the meeting of the 13th Feb were read and approved.
Discussion about the school fund continue. Cllr Vause advised against using the fund to buy computers would not be acceptable. Suggestion to use some of the fund to attract further funds for larger schemes.
In connection with the playing field - difficult to find a site, the Clerk to write to Mr D. Downham about the possibility of buying land to the west of Croft Lea. In respect of the proposed Library, this would be more practical after the Village Hall was refurbished.
The scheme to offer bursaries would be difficult to administer, but may be possible.
The seat at the corner of Wrights Lane was discussed, Mr Myatt asked that it was removed, and not replaced, to deter further vandals.
The next meeting, the AGM, to be held on 16th April
