Notes from meeting held on Tuesday 3 December 2002 Discussion about ownership of land at entrance to village. More information about litter bins to make a decision at the next meeting. NYCC Planning and Regulatory Functions Committee have, today, referred the use of the pecker for yet another report at their next meeting. The Yorkshire Post have published an article 2.12.02 about the noise problem. There was a general discussion about further actions on the part of the parish. Manor House outline planning permission (renewal) was considered, no observations. Darrington Quarries Ltd planning application for enlarging generator building and installing more generators, no objection. General discussion as to planning consents in the village. Aggregate Levy Tax - discussion on accessing this for village improvement projects. A decision to be taken at the next meeting. The issue of fly tipping and motor cyclist nuisance was raised, these issues to be investigated.
